Wells Fargo Japan Moves To Larger Office

Wells Fargo, the US bank, is relocating its Tokyo branch to a larger office to accommodate its growing client base in Japan. The new branch addresses its expanding customer volume for its global financial institutions unit, which provide payment, depository accounts in the local currency and trade processing services to Japanese and international banks. All 40 Wells Fargo staff will be based in the new office located at Marunouchi Trust Tower in Tokyo, in addition to some 12 team members from Wells Fargo Securities. The GFI unit offers banking services to financial institutions, multilateral organisations and international agencies, including payments, collections, trade services and outsourcing, deposits, credit, foreign exchange and risk management.
